ghters absolutely love these walkie talkies! They are perfect for kids and have an impressive range. I was amazed at how far they could go, even from the top of a hill all the way to our house. I estimate it to be about 500-600 meters as the crow flies. I included a picture to show where the other walkie talkie was placed! The bright colors are a hit with my kids and they go great with their 'Noddy toyland detective' play set. The only reason I deducted a bit on ease of use is because there are some cool features that take a little time to figure out. But hey, that's not necessarily a bad thing! There's even a child lock to prevent them from getting confused. One feature I really like is the 'vox' function. It's perfect for toddlers as they can just talk into it without having to constantly hold a button. When they speak, it automatically switches to transmit mode.
